I am interested in geometric and optical art, constructivist themes, and modern architecture and design. I explore these inspirations in an abstract sense using shape, predominantly the circle and the oval. My aims and aspirations for each piece produced are for sustainability in the expression of an abstract beauty of sculptural form using curves and edges, light and shadow. When creating these forms I see myself on an ongoing journey, searching for an ultimate perfection and beauty in the three dimensions of the ceramic form.
