Most of Victoria Melody's work is a response to living, working and shagging in the 21st century. It's darkly humorous in an anarchic yet chic way, and aims to deliver an instantaneous comment that is both accessible and provocative.

Victoria mainly works in performance and video, and has a fine art sculpture background. She has recently completed an artist residency with the OVADA
gallery in Oxford and is about to complete another with CESTA in the Czech Republic. Victoria is creating new work that will be on display at the Millais Gallery, Southampton, in her solo show in early November 2005.
